Gregory Youdan first began working with the NY Baroque Dance Company in 2006. He holds a BA in Dance with a minor in Physical Education and Sports Sciences from Hofstra University. While at Hofstra, he had the pleasure of dancing in much of the guest artist and faculty repertory, including works by Larry Keigwin, Chris Elam, Martha Clarke and Ellen Cornfield. He is currently appearing with the companies of Catherine Gallant, Gloria McLean and Heidi Latsky, including the GIMP project throughout the United States and abroad. Other company credits include HT Chen and Dancers, Sokolow Theatre/Dance Ensemble, Gail Corbin and Dancers, Kelley Donovan and Dancers, among others. He was original touring cast member of Cirque Legacy’s City Life and has appeared in the music videos of Greg Lato, Black Taxi and Ben Lerman. In 2007, Gregory’s contemporary choreography was selected to close the Gala for the American College Dance Festival. Gregory’s choreography has since been presented at Hofstra University, Dance New Amsterdam, Movement Research and a commission for the FAITH Project to benefit the American Lung Association. He is a certified Pilates instructor.
